If the oceans run dry, what will the world look like?

From Taipei Station A 台北A站 tai bei A zhan, we took the Kuo-Kuang Co. 國光路運 guo guang lu yun express bus bound for Jinshan Activity Youth Center and got off at YehLiu 野柳. 96 NT, a short walk by a fishing village and about 1.5 hours later, we found the answer in Yehliu Geopark 野柳地質公園 yeh liu di zhi gong yuan.

A 1700-meter long cape-turned-geological-park in Wanli, New Taipei City 萬里區,新台北 wan li qu, xin tai bei – we visited Yehliu Geopark and found ourselves standing amidst colossal limestone rock formations taking our breaths away. This is a scenic spot where mushroom rocks flaunt their eroded skin – the spotlight of which, is naturally, on the Queen’s Head 女王頭 nu wang tou. For 50 NT, we met the Queen and gasped our way through walls of stunning rock layers, as we stepped beside sea urchin fossils海膽化石hai dan hua shi embedded on grounds that rose from the bottom of the ocean a few thousands of years ago.
